Perinteikäs Vasemmistonuorten Opi perusasiat -kurssi eli OPA-kurssi järjestetään pääkaupunkiseudulla 13.-15.9.2024!

Opi perusasiat -kurssilla vietetään viikonloppu muiden eri puolelta Suomea tulevien vasemmistonuorten kanssa, hengataan yhdessä ja opitaan lisää vasemmistoliikkeen taustoista sekä Vasemmistonuorista järjestönä. Lisäksi kurssilla tutustutaan erilaisiin tapoihin osallistua toimintaan järjestön sisällä. Kurssi sopii uusille jäsenille ja niille pidempään järjestössä toimineille, jotka eivät ole vielä kurssia käyneet ja jotka haluavat palata perusasioiden äärelle.

Osallistuminen on ilmaista ja kotimaan matkakulut Helsinkiin julkisilla kulkuvälineillä korvataan. 

Ilmoittaudu viimeistään 28.8. täyttämällä alla oleva lomake. Mikäli ilmoittautuneita on enemmän kuin leiripakkoja, leirille pääsee mukaan n. 30 ensimmäistä ilmoittautumisjärjestyksessä. Ilmoittautuneet saavat sähköpostitse tiedon siitä, saivatko paikan leiriltä vai ovatko jonossa, sekä tarkempaa tietoa kurssista. Huom! Olemme lomalla 12.8. asti, joten olemme sinuun yhteydessä sen jälkeen.

Tapahtuman ohjelma järjestetään suomen kielellä. Henkilökohtaiset avustajat ovat tervetulleita. Heiltäkään ei peritä osallistumismaksuja, ja myös heidän matkakulunsa korvataan. Vasemmistonuorten valtakunnallisissa tapahtumissa käytettävissä on tarvittaessa seuraavat apuvälineet ja palvelut:

• Induktiosilmukka
• Yleisavustaja
• Suomen- ja englanninkielen tulkki
• Suomen- ja ruotsinkielen tulkki
• Suomen- ja viittomakielen tulkki
• Lastenhoito

Mikäli tarvitset näitä palveluita, ilmoita niistä etukäteen. Tapahtuma on päihteetön. Kaikki tarjoiltu ruoka on vegaanista. Nukkuminen tapahtuu n.15hlö huoneissa kerrossängyissä.

Leirikeskuksen esteettömyystiedot: 

(Mikäli sinulla herää esteettömyystiedoista kysymyksiä tai tarvitset lisätietoja tai kuvia, voit olla yhteydessä järjestösuunnittelijaan, yhteystiedot alla)

• Leirikeskus on pääosin yksikerroksinen rakennus jossa on muutama matala kynnys. Pyörätuolilla liikkuminen onnistuu.
• Sauna sijaitsee kellarikerroksessa, johon on portaat eikä hissiä tai ramppia. Kaikki muut tilat sijaitsevat katutasossa.
• Rakennuksessa on esteetön vessa, johon sisäänkäynti on ulkokautta. Suihkut sijaitsevat vessojen yhteydessä, suihkuun on kynnys.

Reitti pääsisäänkäynnille: 

• Saattoliikenteen pysähtymispaikka sijaitsee sisäänkäynnin läheisyydessä (etäisyys enintään 5 metriä), josta sisäänkäynnille pääsee siirtymään sujuvasti.

• Kulkureitti sisäänkäynnille on epätasainen sekä valaistu ja siinä on liikkumista ohjaavaa pintamateriaalia.

Pääsisäänkäynti

• Sisäänkäynti erottuu selkeästi ja on valaistu. Sisäänkäynnin yläpuolella on katos.
• Sisäänkäynnin ovet ovat vaikeasti havaittavat. Oven ulkopuolella on riittävästi vapaata tilaa liikkumiselle esim. pyörätuolin kanssa. Ovi on raskas tai muuten vaikeasti avattavissa.
• Sisäänkäynnin yhteydessä on yli 2 cm korkeita kynnyksiä.

Sisätilat

• Toimipiste sijaitsee samassa kerroksessa kuin sisäänkäynti.
• Tilassa on yli 2 cm korkeita kynnyksiä.
• Sisätilojen ovet eivät erotu selkeästi seinästä.

Östersundomin leirikeskus ei ole täysin esteetön. Saunatilat sijaitsevat alakerrassa, johon pääsee vain rappusten kautta.

Oviaukot talossa ovat leveyksiltään erilaisia. Pienimmillään 56 cm ja suurimmillaan 90 cm.

• Tässä tarkemmat mitat:
• Pääovi 90 cm + kynnys 2-3cm
• Yksi sivu-ulko-ovi 80Cm + kynnys 2-3 cm
• Inva-vessan ulko-ovi 80 cm + kynnys 2cm,  Huom! sisäänkäynti ulkokautta!
• Inva-vessan  wc-tilan oviaukko 75 cm ilman kynnystä
• Inva-vessan suihkutilaan on noin 10 cm kynnys ja suihkutila on 70x 90 cm
• Salin ovi 90 cm + kynnys 2-3 cm, toinen ovi leveydeltään 75 cm
• Kaksi makuuhuonetta, ovi aukko 90 cm ei kynnyksiä,  Huom! sängyt kerrossänkyjä!
• Yksi kahden hengen huone oviaukko 75 cm + kynnys 2-3 cm
• Oleskeluhuoneen oviaukko 75 cm + kynnys
• Keittiöön menevä ovi 75 cm leveä, ei kynnystä
• Kylpyhuone/wc:n ovi (talon sisällä) 75 cm + kynnys 2-3 cm
• Kahden vessakopin oven leveys 55 cm ei kynnystä
• Suihkupaikan leveys 69 cm x noin 60 cm, ”kynnys” 10 cm
• Ulko-ovi kylpyhuone/vessasta 75 cm kynnys 2-5 cm
• Saunaan menevä palo-ovi 75 cm + kynnys 2cm

The traditional Left Youth ‘Opi Perusasiat (or OPA course), will be held in the capital region on September 13-15, 2024!

In the course, you spend the weekend with other members of the Left Youth from different parts of Finland. We hang out and have fun together and learn more about the history of the left-wing movement and Left Youth as an organization. In addition, the course introduces ways to participate in activities within the Left Youth. The course is suitable for new members and those who have been in the organization for a longer time, who have not yet taken the course and want to return to the basics.

Participation is free and domestic travel expenses to Helsinki by public transport are reimbursed. 

Sign up by August 28. by filling in the form below. If we exceed the capacity of the event (approximately 30 people), we take in people in the order of signing up. Those who have registered will receive information by e-mail about whether they got a place at the course or whether they are on the waiting list, as well as more detailed information about the OPA-weekend. We are on vacation until August 12th, so we will be in touch with you after that.

The program of the event is held in Finnish. Personal assistants are welcome. They are not charged participation fees, and their travel expenses are also reimbursed. It is possible to get the following aids and services at the national events of left-wing youth:

• Induction loop
• General Assistant
• Finnish and English interpreter
• Finnish and Swedish interpreter
• Finnish and sign language interpreter
• Childcare

If you need these services, notify us in advance. The event is substance-free. All food served is vegan. You will sleep in 15 people rooms in bunk beds.

Accessibility information for the venue

• The camp center is mainly a one-story building with a few low thresholds. Mobility with a wheelchair is possible.
• The sauna is located on the basement floor, which has stairs and no elevator or ramp. All other facilities are located at street level.
• The building has an accessible toilet, the entrance to which is from the outside. The showers are located next to the toilets, there is a threshold to the shower.

Route to the main entrance: 

• The traffic stop is located near the entrance (distance no more than 5 meters), from where you can get to the entrance.
• The path to the entrance is uneven and lit and has surface material that guides movement.

Main entrance

• The entrance stands out clearly and is lit. There is a canopy above the entrance.
• The entrance doors are hard to see. There is enough free space outside the door for movement, e.g. with a wheelchair. The door is heavy or otherwise difficult to open.
• There are more than 2 cm high thresholds at the entrance.

Interiors

• The office is located on the same floor as the entrance.
• The space has thresholds more than 2 cm high.
• The interior doors do not stand out clearly from the wall.
